Home is where the heart is...unless it's in the Midlands!

The Midlands might be undergoing something of a minor cultural renaissance – with Sven-Goran Eriksson taking over at Notts County, three local teams in the Premier League and even the Coventry band the Specials touring again to loud acclaim. But for local people, it seems that this is not enough to command their loyalty. Given half a chance, three-quarters of the population would leave tomorrow.

Fully 81% of those working in the West Midlands would hotfoot it to the coast or countryside if their work became sufficiently flexible to permit it, while the east Midlands would similarly become a series of ghost towns, according to a study seemingly designed to raise ire in the region.

The survey asked people where they would choose to live if the government's promise of universal broadband access in the next few years allowed them to tap away at a laptop in the destination of their choice.

The concept of telephone answering service is having someone on your phone line to interact with your customer/client as a representative for your whole company. Telephone answering service is likely to be more beneficial if we put capable person there. That's why some companies are very sensitive about this matter, considering the salary for many people who work there and also the time to select the individual capability for this not-so-special-but-critical position.

Teleworking

The main difference between 'homeworking' and 'teleworking' is that teleworkers, who may work full-time from home, are usually doing office work rather than practical work and frequently make use of computers and other electronic devices to do their work and communicate directly with their office base.

Some teleworkers spend part of their week working in the office and part working at home. As with homeworking, your rights will depend on your employment status, if you are an 'employee' you will have the same rights as any other 'employee'.

Business confidence in the UK has risen to its highest level since the start of the financial crisis, boosting hopes that an end to the recession is at hand.

Based on the findings of its quarterly Business Confidence Monitor (BCM), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) now predicts third-quarter GDP will rise 0.5pc, breaking five quarters of declining output.

The news comes as positive noises emanate from both sides of the Atlantic.
